Join us for yet another one of our popular theatre evenings at That Theatre Company. When you buy your ticket please send us your email at email@example.com so we can keep you posted on where we meet for dinner if you are interested in joining us. And perhaps you may also like that special cocktail bar across the street where we always end up.
The price as always includes a drink and cosy session with the actors at the theatre afterwards.
Exciting. Fascinating. Complex. Eternal.
London. 1613. The Globe Theatre has just burnt down.
Shakespeare, having retired, returns from Stratford-Upon-Avon to try and pull a phoenix from the ashes. He is unwell but has to write a new play for the reopening of his theatre. He is burnt-out himself and lacks inspiration. He turns to his earlier plays and in the process some of the women his poetic quill created appear and interact with him.
Shakespeare lays open the depths of women’s nature, beside exquisite emotion; terrible passions play their dangerous and fatal part.
