International House, ground floor, Gyldenløvesgade 11, 1600 København

New course on finding a room or an apartment to stay in Copenhagen

One of the most pressing problems when coming to Copenhagen is finding a place to live! Work & Life Denmark, together with Copenhagen Host Program, will be offering a 2-hour course on useful things to know when you are looking for at room or apartment.

While you will not walk away with a contract for a room or an apartment after the course, it will give you some ideas about how things are done in Denmark and probably more options on how to find a place.

Future price is 100 dkk – but the introduction price is 50 kr for the first course.

The course is aimed at expats/foreigners who might not know the ins and outs of the Danish housing market.

Content includes:

  • Options - from short and long rental of rooms, over communal living to buying an andelsbolig. (But not ejerbolig - International House offers a course in Buying a home in Denmark).
  • Cultural aspects that are good to know when you would like to rent a room from Danes.
  • Useful ressources, from internet sites to places to check if you are paying too much.
  • Meeting other place-to-live hunters.
