Yul Anderson Concerts

During Copenhagen Jazz Festival

Last time you heard Yul Anderson play a concert may have been in Tivoli, The Black Diamond or Cinemateket. You may also have heard him play on the streets in Copenhagen or Hamburg... In July he will be playing concerts in the intimate BedRock Studios located in the heart of Copenhagen, 2 min away from the Round Tower.

Enjoy an Exclusive Jazz Improv Concert evening featuring Yul Anderson Solo Piano, special session with Yul Anderson Plays Jimi Hendrix Unplugged and socialize with an international buffet.

Date: Friday the 7th to Saturday the 16th of July

Time: The Studio opens at 8 pm with the Buffet. The concert starts at 9 pm

Music: Yul Anderson Solo Piano Concert and Acoustic Guitar

Dinner: Buffet with American, Mexican and Asian cuisine. Collard Greens, San Francisco Shrimp, Gumbo, Sweet Potato Pie

Program

For the first time, those who enjoys the softer side of Jimi Hendrix' music such as Little Wing, Wind Cries Mary, Axis Bold as Love, Drifting, Hey Baby, Gypsy Boy and many others will be able to enjoy Yul Anderson Plays Jimi Hendrix Unplugged, where the audience will have a more intimate experience of not only the music of Jimi Hendrix but the lyrics as expression through the unplugged acoustic performance. If Jimi Hendrix played something the tenth way, Yul Anderson plays it the eleventh way.

Although the performance on Piano and Guitar will be the main attraction, the buffet will be composed of a unique variety of Soul Food including "Down Home" Southern delights from New Orleans, to Mississippi, to Louisiana gumbo.

Each concert during the CPH Jazz Festival will feature not only different music but different buffets. There will also be food from Thailand, China, India, Mexico, South America
