AUTEUR FILM is proud to present another installment of its on-going "Auteur Dinners" series, and on this evening has partnered with Husets Biograf to host a unique screening of the new drama, "Unge Astrid,’ about the beloved Swedish writer, Astrid Lindgren. It will be followed by a delicious multi-course dinner in the company of film director, Pernille Fischer. Auteur Dinners is a concept which combines culinary dining experiences with challenging films. Each dinner event consists of a film screening followed by an informal dinner and discussion in the company of the film director and the audience.

When Astrid Lindgren was very young something happened that deeply affected her - a combination of a miracle and an accident which came to shape her life. It was an event that made her one of the most creative woman of her time and a figure that the whole world would come to love. The film is a interpretation of that moment at a time when this young women defied the social and religious expectations of the day to follow her heart.
