Carrie’s Going Out, Another Life and Sexualia would like to invite you to a celebratory event in occasion of the Women’s Right Day. We’re going to celebrate intersectional equality, but also talk about how we can keep on supporting one another while continuing the fight for equal rights in a mentally sustainable way.Another Life curates and moderates a panel-conversation on the evening, talking about, among other, this aspect. Sexualia curates a beautiful exhibition and Carrie’s Going Out ensures the live music from Debbie Sings and Party Time Boy.

Another Life

Another Life is a non-profit association working to increase representation and improve conditions for women and minoritised individuals and groups in the Danish music industry on and behind the stage. The association creates data and knowledge about the reality regarding representation and discrimination in the Danish music industry with our annual reports. The reports are being used as evidence for our various activities and projects. Through our projects, we convert knowledge into tangible methods and tools for engaging into and working with representation, discrimination, barriers, power structures and privileges. Another Life is focusing on increasing and improving intersectional equality while voicing and reducing discriminatory behaviour on a structural level. Our focus on representation is on the basis of multiple identity markers such as ethnicity, gender identity, mental strains, physical and psychological disabilities and sexuality. We also focus on where and on which structural levels discrimination occurs. Another Life is continuously evaluating, developing and implementing an intersectional focus as an organisation.

Sexualia

Sexualia is a platform seeking to expand our understanding of sexuality through art. We believe that sexuality is infinite and every individual has their own unique sexuality to explore.Every year we publish our art magazine, which features different young artists and their take on sexuality. Through different artists' artworks and thoughts on sexuality featured in our magazine, we showcase how broad the field of sexuality is. Reading through the magazine you will experience your own sexuality by feeling which artworks touch you and which does not. Whereby the Sexualia magazine is an invitation to explore yourself and challenge your understanding of sexuality.We host different events during the year to create a space for you to debate, discuss, be inspired or just enjoy. Carrie’s Going Out

Carrie’s Going Out is Carrie Managements newly founded non-profit event group. We're creating a varying series of events aiming to work for a more sustainable future in the music industry and its surrounding community. Through collaborations with inspiring activist initiatives we want to articulate and emphasize existing structural issues, and act on them. Our aim is to work towards restructuring the premises for the industry and create a safe, interdisciplinary platform for young artists and creators of culture – with a clear focus on mental health, anti-discrimination, transparency, community and sustainability. We want to create events that starts constructive conversations and inspires, as well as encourages, young people to take ownership of existing problems in our society, in a motivating and more concrete way – that doesn’t compromise with freedom of expression. To rethink and challenge classic structures and create alternatives to the current ways of behaving and producing. We believe art and culture is an essential factor in positive societal changes. We hope to create a community and network, that will go out with us for a more sustainable, inclusive and creative future<3
