Sur Sudha was established by Mr. Surendra Shrestha in 1991, Sur Sudha is also known as "Nepal's musical ambassadors” and awarded the title "Goodwill Ambassador of Nepal Tourism" in 2011. Sur Sudha will convey a universal message of peace and harmony and with their music and support they effort to less poverty among the world’s population. Through their music, Sur Sudha brings the message of peace, with references to "the Son of the Earth," Lord Buddha, introductory efforts how two of the world's great religions-Hindu and Buddhism, find a perfect fusion in Nepal. Sur Sudha seeks to promote these ideals through traditional Nepalese instrument music reproduced with flute, sitar, tabla and guitar, four instruments that are very popular in Nepal. Sur Sudha is considered by many as the sons of Nepal - Nepal's musical pride.These talented musicians have built a reputation for their innovative interpretations of traditional Nepalese people’s music and composing their own original music, their music stretching the parameters between the new / modern and the traditional.Their CD albums show the virtuosity of individual music and offer listeners an opportunity to travel on a musical journey through Nepal - from Terai (Nepal's lowland in the south) to the distant areas of Mustang, which are high among the mighty Himalayan mountains.Sur Sudha has hosted more than 2,000 concerts on the steps from ancient Hindu temples to concert phases in many countries in Europe, India, Japan, S Korea, Africa and the United States and has been the subject of television documentaries in many countries. They have played for well-known to royalty and they have already released fourteen CDs. Melodies of Nepal, Picture of Nepal, Festivals of Nepal and Lord Buddha's Third Eye. Their music is supported and published among other things through Schtung Records in collaboration with Universal Music (formerly MCA) supported by BMG Records and Warner / Chappell.
