The Sports Leader Conference during Copenhagen 2021 seeks to strengthen sustainability and capacity-building within LGBTI+ sports clubs across Europe, as well as ensure broader inclusion of LGBTI+ athletes in mainstream sports. During the two-day conference, you can expect a varied range of workshops, presentations, panels, and networking events that will help build both professional and personal skills and broaden your international network.
The program will be very diverse, touching on many topics related to LGBTI+ inclusion. For instance, there will be interviews with professional athletes like ice hockey player John Lee Olsen. There will be many workshop sessions, ranging from LGBTI+ sports in Eastern Europe, Trans Inclusion, to LGBTI+ inclusion in mainstream sports. We will also host various panel discussions with professional athletes like Olympic swimmer Michael Gunning, racing car driver Charlie Martin and many more.
