Featured Workshop: "Intercultural Bingo: How Much Do You Know About Your Own CultureS??" by Kristina Roppelt 

What is this workshop about 

If you work in an international team or moved the country, you know how differently people from different countries think, act and lead (and even send meassages!).

But is it only about your country? Are there some other factors that make us so intercultural?

The workshop will suggest fun yet profound activities to bring сultural differences and similarities into your focus of attention. We will help you discover what cultures (not one, but many!) you belong to, and how you can identify similarities with colleagues and friends of a different background.

For who is this workshop

Expats and Danes alike: corporate employees, team leaders, HRs, founders and international team members.

What people walk away with

Several exercises you can do on your own (or with your team later) to understand where these or that business and personal cultural preferences come from. If you are really engaged, you're also likely to become less irritated about some "weird" behaviors of other people and better recognize when your own behavior can seem "weird" to the others.

About the facilitator

Kris Roppelt is an intercultural communication expert from Denmark, CEO and Founder of "Agency for International Cooperation", author of the book "50 Intercultural questions".

She helps international companies improve communication inside their mixed teams and supports businesses and individuals that start operating in new markets, pitch to foreign investors or make presentations to international audience.

Among her clients are Maersk, EasyPark, Greenpeace, Goethe Institute, Arrive, Hasbro, and many other respected brands.

She regularly speaks at different business schools and universities, and in the Nordics she gave a keynote at Danish Technological University (DTU) and Aalto University. Her approach is very science-backed and she uses very reliable sources from WVS to Hofstede statistics.
