In the dark cistern underground we are forced to become more aware of our other senses and not solely rely on our sight. We want to celebrate the darkness and the aroma of Japanese architect Sambuichi's extraordinary installation with an event that puts our sense of SMELL on center stage.
In collaboration with Aesop, we invite you to join us for a talk with the French parfumer Barnabé Fillion, who has created the new fragrance Hwyl for Aesop. This fragrance's key ingredients resonate uncannily with the key elements of Sambuichi's installation: Japanese Cedar, Hinoki and moss. Barnabé Fillion will speak about the creative process behind Hwyl and the way in which his work resonates with that of Sambuichi.
On the same occasion architect Camilla Stig will introduce the exhibtion and speak about our collaboration with Sambuichi.
And all this will take place in the midst of Sambuichi's underground installation.
