Join us for the rehearsal of the poetic performance Unknown Cloud Forming by Lundahl & Seitl and Untold Garden and the following seminar featuring Lundahl & Seitl, Untold Garden, Tanya Ravn Ag, Nomeda & Gediminas Urbonas and Gibson & Martelli. 

What does it mean for public art that we can see, hear and connect with places we were previously completely cut off from? That we in immersive experiences can disappear into parallel or virtual realities or be transported to other locations, bodies or times? Or that we with greater ease can distort and manipulate our experience and understanding of real sites and situations in media such as AR or VR?

The research based exhibition project Sites, sounds and screens will examine how new technologies have changed the ways we experience and engage in sites. This project extends over three years and includes an open call, seminars and conversations, public art projects and ends in a final exhibition, symposium and publication in 2024. The aim is to facilitate conversations between artists, curators and researchers and share the interesting thoughts and problems that arise during this project. 

Sites, Sounds and Screens is curated by curator and director of Inter Arts Center (IAC) Christian Skovbjerg Jensen in collaboration with KØS director Ulrikke Neergaard. 

The seminar Site-Specific and participatory Augmented Reality is the first event in this series and it revolves around the theme site-specific and participatory augmented reality. This seminar also shows Sites, Sounds and Screen’s first commission, which is a continuation of the performance Unknown Cloud by Lundahl & Seitl.

We meet at Køge Harbour for the test performance of Unknown Clouds Forming - the exact location will be unveiled soon. After the performance we relocate to KØS for the seminar. Below you will find the full programme for the event.

PLEASE note that there are seperate tickets for the test performance as well as the seminar. You are welcome to participate in both events but please make a ticket reservation for each event.
