Undisciplined Design: Integrating innovation across boundaries
How can digital innovation and emerging technologies solve the wicked problem of sustainable urbanism through pan-sectoral knowledge? Undisciplined Design is about disobeying convention and transdisciplinary thinking. This session explores opportunities and challenges for democracy, diversity and disruption.
We have invited three keynotes from diverse backgrounds:
Toke Sabroe from LeaderLab, which innovates through formats such as the LAUNCH forum to match-make startups and innovators with established companies such as NASA, Nike, Ikea, e-Bay and Novozymes.
Alice Haugh, Futurist at UNStudio in Amsterdam and member of urban think-tank In-Between Economies, explores the impact of socioeconomic and technological shifts on the built environment, proposing spatial prototypes in response to emerging needs.
Kjell Yngve Petersen from Adaptive Environments at ITU, which investigates mutual adaptations between us and our built environments, with a focus on human interaction, relation and communication.
