Do you dream of creating your own meaningful christmas gifts this year? We invite you to our christmas edition upcycling workshop, where we will teach you how to transform textile waste into your own handmade christmas present for your friends and family (or yourself).
In this workshop, you will be making your own unique Grumpy Gabu bag.
We will start with an introduction to the world of upcycling and the textile waste that you will be working with.
Then you will be guided through the creation of the bag - we will help you every step of the way, from choosing the textile waste to sewing the straps on.
All materials + sewing machines will be provided/available, as well as free tea, coffee, snacks, but you are welcome to bring your own old clothes and food too.
Don’t know how to sew? Join our SEWING PRACTISE session (also christmas edition) 4/12 from 17:30 - 20:00 here

The fashion industry is the second largest polluter on this planet. From modern slavery to mass consumerism, we need to change our ways, but it can be difficult to know where to start. We want to give you the power to reclaim your style by making your own sustainable fashion pieces and together challenge the status quo of the fashion industry.
This workshop is a collaboration between Grumpy Gabu and Wair, who share the mission of giving textile waste a second chance by transforming it into upcycled wonders.
