- Learn how to sew on sewing machine and make your own unique denim apron from textile waste
Do you dream of a more mindful and meaningful wardrobe? We invite you on a journey threaded through a series of workshops, where we will guide you to transform textile waste into something wonderful.
We’ll start with an introduction to the world of upcycling and the textile waste that you will be working with. Then you will be guided through the creation of your own unique denim apron made from your choice of discarded jeans.
All materials + sewing machines will be provided/available, as well as free tea, coffee, snacks, but you are welcome to bring your own old clothes and food too.

The fashion industry is the second largest polluter on this planet. From modern slavery to mass consumerism, we need to change our ways, but it can be difficult to know where to start. We want to give you the power to reclaim your style by making your own sustainable fashion pieces and together challenge the status quo of the fashion industry.
This workshop is organised by Wair, who is on a mission to give textile waste a second chance by transforming it into upcycled wonders.
Join us to learn more about circular economy and enjoy the time with our upcycling team!
PS: You will bring home your own denim apron at the end of the workshop :)
