Det er julesange som du sikkert har hørt de helt store kanoner Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby og Harry Connick Jr. fortolke! OG til denne helt specielle ”X-mas Special” af ”A Night in New Orleans”, vil du helt sikkert kunne svinge hofterne i takt til netop disse klassikere!
HQ’s NOLA husorkester, ”The Vooo Ca Ray”, tæller denne aften:
Croonsome vokal og klaver er Mads Mathias' unge lærling, Emil Otto. I hornsektionen finder man Jonathan Bruun Meyer på trombone, og på trompet Scott Westh – 2 blæsere man bestemt ikke kommer udenom, når man snakker New Orleans her i Aarhus. Det samme kan siges om trommeslager Søren Pedersen, der med sit excentriske udtryk ligger den groovy, sumpede bund man forbinder med NOLA. Rytmegruppen fuldendes af manden med Aarhus flotteste krøller og hårdest swingende kontrabas, Adrian Christensen.
Derudover er besætningen helt specielt udvidet med selveste Kristoffer Gori Verdoner på en smooth jazz guitar.
