Alle er og skal føle sig som ’EN AF OS’
Landsindsatsen EN AF OS har til formål at afstigmatisere psykisk sygdom i Danmark, da det skal være lettere for den enkelte, der har, eller har haft en psykisk sygdom, at leve et fuldt og godt liv, som en ligeværdig del af samfundet.
Som en del af denne indsats, vil DPS Aalborg gerne præsentere de to ambassadører fra EN AF OS: Emma og Kim-Philip, der vil fortælle om deres personlige oplevelser med psykisk sygdom. Emma vil fortælle om diagnosen bipolar, og hvordan det hele begyndte. Hun fortæller om hvordan hun som 14-årig isolerede sig, var trist, vågen om natten, sov om dagen og begyndte at leve et liv på nettet, og hvordan hun oplevede et skift til pludselig at kunne klare alt: fester, få timers søvn og ingen hæmninger. Kim-Philip fortæller om et liv med ADHD, og han vil komme med eksempler på hvornår han har ''Den gode ADHD'' og ''Den dårlige ADHD''. Han vil fortælle om de udfordringer, der er forbundet med at leve med denne diagnose.
Foredraget er gratis for medlemmer af Dansk Psykolog Forening, og koster 20 kr. for ikke-medlemmer.
