Under Art Week har du muligheden for at opleve en underjordisk performance skabt specielt til Chiharu Shiotas udstilling Multiple Realities i Cisternernes utraditionelle udstillingsrum. Den Japanskfødte danser og koreograf Yui Kawaguchi fortolker Chiharus drømmelignende univers i tæt dialog med den tjekkiske musiker Anna Fusek. Publikum ledes gennem udstillingen via snoede gangbroer over det blanke vandspejl, hvor Yui Kawaguchis skarpe silhuet skiftevis spinner i luften, vandrer i vandet og går i et koreografisk samspil med Chiharu Shiotas selvbiografiske totalinstallation.
Yui Kawaguchi og Anna Fusek er inspireret af Chiharu Shiotas arbejde med den menneskelige krop og bevidsthed, hvor roterende kjoler og geometriske former svæver i luften og skaber et påtrængende nærvær i de tomme kamre. Yui Kawaguchi anvender vandet og mørket i sin performance, der sammen med rummets spejlinger, skygger og vibrationer er med til at så tvivl om vores egen virkelighedsopfattelse. Performer Yui Kawaguchi har arbejdet sammen med Chiharu Shiota ad flere omgange og kender Shiotas kunstneriske univers og personlige rejse mod at blive en anerkendt verdenskunstner. Derfor venter der en helt speciel oplevelse denne aften nede i Cisternerne, hvor arkitektur, samtidskunst og dans smelter sammen til en totaloplevelse.
