I anledning af Anders Knudsens udgivelse af sin anden julesingle Baby’s Coming Home for Christmas, spiller han en af sine mere sjældne koncerter i fuld bandkonstellation.
Anders Knudsen har i mange år floreret i den københavnske og engelske indieundergrund, hvor han blandt andet har spillet i bands som WORMS, The Delanies og Paserine. Siden 2015 har han ved siden af sin solokarriere været guitarist i det anmelderroste danske band Dør Nr. 13.
Udover Knudsen m. band + særlige gæster, vil publikum denne aften få mulighed for at genhøre sange fra bl.a. 2013 debuten Perils og efterfølgeren Cloudwalker. Begge album blev indspillet i Berlin med produceren Robbie Moore og modtog flotte anmeldelser i danske og engelske musikmedier.
To EP’er og sidste års julesingle har siden fulgt trop, så der er rigeligt at dele ud af, når Knudsen ryster posen og inviterer publikum indenfor i hans poetiske baroque pop univers, der fusionerer tressernes psykedelia med firsernes Manchester-scene.
Det wall of sound-inspirerede nummer Baby’s Coming Home for Christmas er Knudsens bud på årets julehit. Det er anden single i et større juleprojekt, hvor der udgives en sang om året indtil 2030.
Nummeret får lov at prøve scenen på selve udgivelsesdatoen.
