Et musikalsk ekko fra en søsterlig soulmate.
Nye nordiske toner møder gammel poesi, når komponist og sangerinde Anna Kruse fortolker den afdøde digter Edith Södergrans ord. Et stærkt, sjælfuldt og sjældent musikalsk fællesskab. Mellem to kvinder, som aldrig har mødt hinanden.
Den ene er mere end bare musikalsk spillevende, mens den anden var poet og døde i 1923, alt for ung. Anna forener på sublim måde - svensk visetradition med Nordisk vokaljazz. ’Vedkommenhed i verdensklasse. Gribende, troværdigt, dragende smukt og gennemført’ er bare et par af de smukke ord, der er blevet sat på Anna Kruses fortolkninger af Edith Södergrans digte. To albums sparkede benene væk under både publikum og anmeldere, da Kruse sang om Lyckokatt’ (2009) eller dansede forsigtigt på ’Champagne fötter’ (2013).

Anna Kruse og band har netop været i studiet og og indspillet deres tredje album med Edith Södergrans digte.
Bandet fejrer i år 10 år jubileum og består af : Lisbeth Diers, Eva Malling og Nicholas Kingo.
