Den danske bassist og komponist Anne Mette Iversen har de sidste 20 år boet og arbejdet udenfor Danmark. 14 år med New York som base, og de seneste seks år fra Berlin. Nu kan vi præsentere hendes Quartet + 1 på en dansk scene. Hun har været særdeles aktiv på pladefronten. Otte albums er udgivet i hendes navn, hvoraf flere har ligget på internationale salgslister og tre nye albums er på vej. Det er med det ældste af hendes bands, New York Quartet + 1, hun gæster Amagerbro Jazz. Det er en modern jazz group, kendt for sine mageløse improvisationer efter ikke mindre end 14 års sammenspil. De har udgivet seks albums.
