For første gang hos Bluesnight Randers præsenterer vi et all-american blues band, idet superguitaristen Anson Funderburgh møder med sit band The Rockets, som han har spillet med siden 1978. Det er Chicago Blues og Texas Blues i en klasse, som kun amerikanerne er i stand til at levere. Funderburgh og hans band har 16 albums bag sig.
I 2012 besøgte bandet Europa for første gang, og nu kan Randers også opleve den amerikanske musiker, der i 2014 var nomineret som bedste guitarist i Blues Music Awards i USA.
