Oplev Dvořáks mesterlige korværk Stabat Mater, når Akademisk Orkester og Kor under ledelse af dirigent Nenia Zenana opfører oratoriet i en af de smukkeste koncertsale - Konservatoriets Koncertsal på Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium.
Værket blev uropført i tjekkiske Dvořáks hjemland i 1880. Han sætter musik til den latinske middelaldertekst om en mor, der ser sin døende søn på korset. Værket tager lytteren gennem sorg, trøst, desperation, nænsomhed og håb.
I formidlingen af værket sætter Nenia fokus på det at være der, og blive ved med at være der med lytten og omsorg, når mennesker sørger. At turde tale om døden – tale om sorgen og give tid, plads, kærlighed og nærvær til at sorgen gennemleves og lyset kan begynde at bryde igennem.
