Islandske Apparat Organ Quartet fejrer 20-årsjubilæum for deres roste, selvbetitlede debutalbum. Pladen er et unikt og eksperimenterede mix af electronica og stadionrock, hvilket hurtigt cementerede bandet som en festivalfavorit og resulterede i turnéer på begge sider af atlanten og Japan.
Bandet blev i sin tid stiftet af den Oscarnominerede filmkomponist Jóhann Jóhannsson, der desværre afgik ved døden tilbage i 2018. I dag holdes skansen af Hörður Bragason, Arnar Geir Ómarsson, Sighvatur Ómar Kristinsson og Úlfur Eldjárn.
Med scenen fuld af gamle orgler, synths og sammenfiltrede kabler, er publikum altid garanteret et uforglemmeligt show. Lydbilledet er baseret på forvrængede orgellyde og trommer, toppet med romantiske synth-melodier og mekaniske stemmer.
