Den arabiske verden er andet og mere end det, medierne sædvanligvis fortæller os. Festivalen ARABIAN NIGHTS hylder for tredje år i træk en samlingskultur i al dens variation.
Filmene her er ikke taget med, fordi de har bestemte politiske standpunkter, men fordi de har gode fortællinger, interessante perspektiver eller personer - eller filmkunstneriske overraskelser i ærmet. Alle filmene vises med engelske undertekster.
Ud over film byder festivalen på masser af foredrag, debatter, musik, mad, fest og overraskelser.
Programmet offentliggøres i løbet af sommeren 2017 - men vi vil løbende holde jer orienteret om relevante begivenheder her undervejs.
Festivalen er støttet af Dansk-Arabisk Partnerskabsprogram, IMS (International Media Support), Salaam Film & Dialog samt NASIM.

The Arab World is much more than what we see in everyday media.
For the 3rd consecutive year, the festival ARABIAN NIGHTS will celebrate Arabian culture in all its diversity. All films have English subtitles and are screened at Cinemateket in Copenhagen.
