KVINDER SKABER BYEN
Gratis byvandring langs Københavns Havn med arkitekt Merete Ahnfeldt-Mollerup
POW og Merete Ahnfeldt-Mollerup inviterer på gratis byvandring i Københavns Havn, hvor vi ser på de roller kvinder har, når byen og dens bygninger bygges. Danmark har flere kvindelige arkitekter end andre lande, og heriblandt nogle funklende stjerner. Med start ved Skuespilhuset, tegnet af Lene Tranberg sammen med Boje Lundgaard og deres tegnestue, går vi gennem havnen til parken på Islands Brygge, der i høj grad er Annelise Bramsnæs’ vision. Undervejs ser vi andre byggerier af Lene Tranberg, og hører mere om hvordan kvinder har haft stor indflydelse på inderhavnens nuværende udtryk.
Merete Ahnfeldt-Mollerup har bl.a. været gæsteforsker ved Columbia University samt gæstekritiker/censor og forelæser på Metropolitan University, Cornell University, Technische Universität Berlin og Lunds Universitet. Herhjemme var hun i en længere årrække lektor ved Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole og formand for Kulturministeriets kanonudvalg for design.
POW POWER OF Women festivalen er et udstillingsvindue for værker, der har kvinders fortællinger i centrum. Værker skabt af kvindelige kunstnere inden for flere kunstformer: Film, musik, scenekunst, design, litteratur og arkitektur.
