    Description

Stor opmærksomhed vakte opsamlingen “Korpsånd – An Introduction to the New Wave of DKBM” fra 2017.

    In English:

Freeform ritual for the advanced cavemen. Hiedelem is a new duo from genre defining vocalist Attila Csihar of Mayhem, Tormentor and SunnO))) and Balazs Pandi, who spent the last decade alongside Japanese noise maestro Masami Akita aka Merzbow (and many other great collaborations with the such of Keiji Haino, Thurston Moore, Jim Jarmush, Mats Gustafsson to name but a few). Together these two Hungarian free thinkers and radical musicians explore the possibilities of blending the acoustic and the electric, free improv and dark pagan rituals. A musical exploration which digs deep into a mutual love for the catalogue of the seminal ESP-Disk label, while also containing the quality to summon the darkest depth of the human soul. Expect to be sucked into a pagan whirlpool, when Hiedelem performs at ALICE in February.

To take you further down a dark path, we have invited Danish black metal band Gabestok to open the evening. Gabestok has quickly gained a reputation as one of the most exciting bands from the new black metal scene around the Copenhagen venue Mayhem (fitting name, by the way!). Their new album ‘Tre’ shows just how menacing they can sound with a raw lo-fi sound and chilling synths. But first of all they have to be experienced live.
