Peter Bastian har ønsket at udtrykke sin livslange kærlighed til musik fra Balkan sammen med 2 norske musikere; Gabriel Flifelt på harmonika og Olav Tveitane på bas, guitar og cister. Det er bulgarsk bryllups ballade, rumænske Doinaer og tyrkisk taksim sammen med dansk og norsk folkemusik. Musikken klæder hinanden. Den bulgarske bryllupsballade og rumænske Doina udtrykker den dybeste blues, fra tragedien til trøsterigt vemod. Tæt musik, som det klæder at blive fortyndet med den svale skønhed i de norske brudemarcher og den generøse gemytlighed i folkemusikken fra Sønderho på Fanø.
