BEYOND BEYOND er en poetisk og sanselig rejse ind i det ukendte, der hvor kontrol og forudsigelighed slipper grebet, og hvor vi giver os hen til et øjebliks fortryllelse.
I en unik sammensmeltning af performance, musik, video og installation, udforsker BEYOND BEYOND de universelle forbindelser mellem vuggeviser, ceremoniel musik og moderne dansemusik, og de ritualer, der markerer overgangen til det uvisse.
Har du eksempelvis nogensinde tænkt over, hvordan vuggeviser ofte rummer en dyb, skjult dimension af mørke og død, og hvordan teksterne kan åbne døren til en anden verden – en verden vi kun kan træde ind i, hvis vi tør slippe kontrollen?
Du inviteres indenfor i en fortryllende hule, en omfavnelse, et mellemrum, en pause. Hvad skal der til, for at du slipper kontrollen og overgiver dig til det magiske, det ikke-målbare?
Tiden presser på - nedefra - udefra - borer sig igennem. Du går frem til tiden, tiden spørger hvad laver du her? Jeg er klar! Tiden siger til hvad? Til at være her? Nu? Ja!

BEYOND BEYOND er skabt i et samarbejde mellem Sydhavn Teater og det Reumert-vindende internationale kunstnerfællesskab MØR collective, som skaber deres værker i en dynamisk ping-pong mellem de involverede kunstnere.
