Baslegenden Bo Stief taler om sit lange liv med musik. Fra hans besøg på jazzklubber i den polske undergrund under DDR til hans medvirken på Miles Davis’ album Aura.
Bo Stief spillede i Kulturtårnet i sommers, og nu gæster han tårnet igen. Denne gang til en live-samtale med Malthe Merrild på øverste dæk i det gamle brotårn. Bo Stief tager noget af det musik med, der har betydet mest for ham og spiller for os undervejs.
Samtalen tager omkring en time, og publikum er velkomne til at byde ind med spørgsmål undervejs. Bagefter drikker vi en øl sammen og nyder udsigten over Københavns Havn.
Samtalen begynder kl. 20:00 i Kulturtårnet på Knippelsbro. Eventet er gratis, men kræver billet, da der er begrænsede pladser. Billetter bookes gratis på Billetto.dk.
Ud over Miles Davis har Bo Stief spillet sammen med bl.a. Stan Getz, Don Cherry, Dizzy Gillespie og Dexter Gordon. Han turnerer stadig med flere forskellige bands, selvom han runder 71 år i år.
Tower Talk er Kulturtårnet på Knippelsbros samtale-format. Vi har plads til 20 gæster, som lytter med og bidrager til samtalen. Samtalen optages og publiceres efterfølgende som podcast på Kulturtårnets podcast-kanal.
