Hun var en af landets mest kendte hofreportere: Bodil Cathrine Nissen Hansen, bedre kendt som Bodil Cath, som fik en stor journalistisk karriere – fra Dybbøl Posten til BT, hvor hun i nœsten fire årtier varetog det kongelige stof. Med artikler og interviews, som gav genlyd både i den danske og internationale presse.
Hun har dækket alle de store kongelige begivenheder, barnedåb, fødselsdage, bryllupper og begravelser og har rejst kloden rundt i hælene på den kongelige familie.
Bodil Cath er født i Sønderjylland i 1945 og uddannet som journalist på Frederikshavns Avis.
Men Cath´en efterlod ikke kun skriftlige spor.
Hendes stemme var altid genkendelig – sønderjydsk!
Mød pigen fra Als på Schackenborg i møderœkken „Mit Sønderjylland“, hvor hun vil fortælle om sin barn- og ungdomstid i det sønderjydske og om sine spændende oplevelser med de Kongelige – ikke mindst bag kulisserne.
