Warm-up i Byhaven med Bethmoora og Dreich fra kl. 16.00
Kristi himmelfartsdag , torsdag d. 25. maj, fejrer vi ikke Jesu opstigning i himlen. Vi skal nemlig selv højt op at flyve til lyden af et kæmpe stoner/sludge/doom line-up i Byhaven og Bombehuset!
Wisconsin-bandet Bongzilla er, efter et brag af et show til Heavy Days In Doomtown i 2015, endelig tilbage i København - denne gang i Pumpehuset og Byhavens grønne omgivelser. Bandets udtalte fascination af den søde urt går uomtvisteligt godt i spænd med deres langsomme fuck-you sludge, som de har været garant for siden midthalvfemserne, hvor de udgav den første 7-tommer 'Mixed Bag'. Guitaren er stadig begravet i hundredevis af fuzzlag, men de skarpe riffs skærer alligevel igennem og går direkte ind i hjernens headbangcenter, hvor de sammen med Michael Henry's tunge groove fremprovokerer en uundgåelig og tung banging med hele nakken.
Til opvarmning af nakkemuskulaturen, vil sydjyske Slowjoint og lokale Cacus servere en beskidt forret af sludge med knusende tunge riffs og hidsig vokal.
Aftenen åbnes med iskolde øl og kulsort doom fra Bethmoora og Dreich på scenen i Pumpehusets Byhave, hvor der er fri entré.
