CPH:DOX viser i samarbejde med Børnekulturhus Ama’r to afsnit af DR Ultra-serien Børnene på Silkevejen. Efter filmvisningen får vi besøg af en ekspert, der kan fortælle mere om landene på Silkevejen og desuden arbejder vi på, at få en slangepige (ligesom en af børnene i serien) ud og vise, hvad hun kan. Arrangementet er for børn i alderen 8-12 år. Forældre og voksenvenner er også velkomne!
Om Børnene på Silkevejen
Børnene på Silkevejen er en serie af 5 korte dokumentarfilm fra 5 lande og med 5 vidt forskellige fortællinger. Alle har det tilfælles, at de foregår i lande, der krydses af den 8.000 kilometer lange strækning mellem den østlige og vestlige ende af det eurasiske kontinent - bedre kendt som Silkevejen. Rejs med til lande som Nepal, Indien og Kazakhstan og mød børn som Danyar fra Kirgisistan, der rider på vilde heste og Erdenchimeg fra Mongoliet, der træner til at blive professionel akrobat. Hvert afsnit varer 20 minutter, og vi viser to afsnit per visning, samt et oplæg mellem de to afsnit.
