No Stranger or Lover to Me - Maria Zahle. Med Phyllida Barlow, Anthea Hamilton, Hannah Heilmann og Christine Clemmesen.
Åbningsdag 12. marts kl. 12.00-17.00
kl.13.00, velkomst ved leder af Rønnebæksholm Lotte Juul Petersen og åbningstale ved kunsthistoriker Bente Scavenius.
kl.14.00-15.30, performance af Fabian Peake og samtaler mellem kunstnere Phyllida Barlow og Maria Zahle modereret af Rønnebæksholms kurator Mai Dengsøe.Samtalen foregår på engelsk.
I nærværende udstilling udfordrer Zahle ikke blot værkbegrebet, men hele idéen om en soloudstilling. I No Stranger or Lover to Me har hun udvidet soloformatet og inviteret fire kunstnere, som hun beundrer ind i sit univers. Med deres værkbidrag væves Zahles egen produktion ind i en større, kontekstualiserende ramme. Som beskuer træder man ind og ud af de forskellige æstetiske fællesskaber, der præsenterer collage, fotografi, skulptur og installation i tæt dialog med performative digte og levende musik.
