Onsdag d. 20 april kl. 18.30 inviterer Lyngby Vinkælder til en spændende Calvados-smagning med Comte Louis de Lauriston!
Lyngby Vinkælder præsenterer for første gang en Calvados-smagning og det bliver med producenten Comte Louis de Lauriston, som holder til i den lille Calvados-appellation Domfrontais. Calvados fra Domfrontais indeholder en større andel pærer og skal destilleres på et dobbelt kolonne destillations-apparat. Endvidere skal den aftappede spiritus ligge minimum 3 år på egetræsfade, før den må frigives som Calvados Domfrontais.
Som ung er Domfrontais mere frugtig end Calvados fra de to andre appellationer, men med alder opnår de ligeledes et helt fantastisk udtryk, hvor frugtighed og alderspræg mødes i en perfekt balance, såvel aromatisk som i mundfylde.
Vi kommer til at smage syv spændende aftapninger, flere med mange års fadlagring. Aftenens aftapninger bliver præsenteret af Comte Louis de Lauristons egen Export Manager Alex Mermillod, så det bliver i den grad ”a night to remember"!
Efter smagningen vil der være mulighed for at købe de smagte flasker til gode priser.
