Sæt juletravlheden og stressen over de gaver, du alligevel ikke får købt før den 23. december på standby, når Career Suicide, Night Fever, The War Goes On, Noise Family og Larma deler scene til en hardcore-aften med smæk på i Pumpehuset den 14. december.
Det københavnske punkrock-band The War Goes On har eksisteret i 10 år, først som trio og sidenhen som kvartet. The War Goes On er inspireret af Wipers og Motörhead, og i true punk-stil er sangene pakket med negativ energi og masser af selvhad. Hardcore-veteranerne Career Suicide fra Toronto i Canada har med deres eget take på 80’er-hardcore-lyden eksisteret siden begyndelsen af 00’erne. Bandet har med guitaristen Jonah Falcos (som også er guitarist i Fucked Up) slagkraftige riffs i centrum udsendt et hav af sønderrivende EP’er og albums. Danske Night Fever er vel efterhånden legender i undergrunden for deres spil-som-gjaldt-det-livet-hardcore og ikke mindst deres fandenivoldske koncerter. Night Fever ledes an af den ultraintense forsanger Salomon, der flankeres af et band, som leverer aggressivt, stramtspillet, punkrocket hardcore. Noise Family er rå hardcore punk fra København med medlemmer fra den fræsende punktrio Death Token. Mens det spritnye band Larma medbringer svensk vildskab fra den anden side af sundet i Malmø.
