Carsten Dahl Trio er et musikalsk kollektiv, der boltrer sig frit på samme måde, malerier bliver til, hvor billedet dikterer fortolkningerne, og hvor man bare skal agere og reagere med farve og pensel.
At være sammen i musikken på denne åbne og livlige måde kræver, at man er parat til at falde fra hinanden uden at gå i stykker og derved give sig hen i musikken uden ego og uden at ville opnå andet end blot at lade sig lede af det store flow.
