Humoristisk, tåkrummende, hjerteskærende og selvudleverende Stand-Up-Pop. Ikke mange ved det, men Carsten Lykke er måske (lidt ufrivilligt) en af DK´s sjoveste mænd. Den tidligere Ibens-forsanger har de sidste par år optrådt sammen med Oliver Zahle i deres humoristiske projekt, LorteLykke og spillet udsolgt og begejstret publikum på en række mindre teatre i DK. Nu er Lykke i gang med et nyt solo-projekt. Albummet får release til sommer, men allerede nu er Lykke klar med sit lille one-man-show ”Lykke i udkanten”. Her bliver nye og gamle sange kædet sammen af stærkt selvudleverende og sjove anekdoter fra Lykke´s ynkelige privatliv. For 10 år siden flyttede han væk fra København og lidt tættere på udkants-Danmark, da han sammen med sin familie fandt et hus 10 km fra Nyborg, tæt på strand og skov, men meget, meget langt væk fra det liv, han havde levet før. Her vil depression, skilsmisse, finanskrise, tinder-dating og meget andet komme under kærlig, musikalsk og humoristisk behandling. Sandsynligvis vil publikum gå hjem med et smil på læben og samtidig være ret lettede over, at de hverken er Carsten Lykke eller en af hans ex-koner, ex-kærester eller kommende dates. Kom, grin og syng med - det bliver med garanti morsomt.
