Vi drikker 5 vine
Når man får løftet en lille flig af vinens mysterier og dermed får udvidet sin bevidsthed, så opstår der mange mysterier og nye spørgsmål. Et af dem er:
Hvorfor skal folk altid drikke Chablis og Sancerre når der er så mange andre smukke hvidvine i verden ?
Dette spørgsmål bliver specielt nærværende når man er vinhandler. Det er ufattelige mængder af disse to vine man får skubbet afsted til restauranter, hvor i mod andre dejlige vine fremstillet på grønne druer ofte kan stå og samle støv, medmindre de bærer ikoniske navne som Mersault eller tilhører toppen af de tyske Rieslinger.
Chablis er en region i Burgogne der først for alvor er kommet på landkortet i starten af 80’erne. Druen her er Chardonnay, og den vender vi tilbage til i adskillige smagninger i fremtiden. Sancerre derimod er fremstillet på Sauvignon Blanc og den går vi lidt i dybden med til denne smagning. Vi laver ganske enkelt et scope på Sauvignon Blanc, både fra den gamle og nye verden. Udover det tager vi en snak om hvad der er galt med Albariño, Semillion, Viognier, Roero Arneis og Gavi.
