Charlotte Rørth er blevet kendt for sine to bøger, "Jeg mødte Jesus", og "Vi mødte Jesus". Begge bøger har været sællerter i boghandlen. Hun mødte Jesus i et kapel i Spanien i 2009 og 2010, men ventede adskillige år, før hun skrev om sine oplevelser, der har vendt op og ned på hendes liv. Efter sin første bog, der udkom i 2015, har over 1000 mennesker skrevet til hende og fortalt om deres oplevelser. Mange havde aldrig fortalt andre om deres møde med Jesus, Gud eller en anden åndelig magt.
Der var materiale til endnu en bog, som blev "Vi mødte Jesus - og hvad kommer de andre ved?". Hun fortæller, hvad hendes egne og andres oplevelser har betydet for hende. "Min mission er ytringsfrihedens," skriver hun. Og ønsker, at det skal være mere legalt at tale om sine åndelige oplevelser.
