Jazzselskabet har fornøjelsen denne dag at præsentere en god, "gammel" bekendt, som det er nogle år siden, vi sidst har haft på repertoiret, nemlig Christina Dahl.
Christina formår med sine tre medspillere at formidle ekspressiv, dynamisk jazz, som samtidig tager udgangspunkt i personlige indtryk. Dertil er musikken varieret, uforudsigelig og også lyrisk.
Christina har komponeret al musikken, og når man hører den, er det tydeligt at den fremføres af en rutineret fasttømret gruppe, som kender hinanden til bunds. Alle musikere har en rolle som bærende solister i indbyrdes kommunikation med stor originalitet.
Christina Dahl har gennem årene opnået bred anerkendelse for sit mangefacetterede spil i mange sammenhænge.
