Kyle Ayers
Critically acclaimed breakout star of the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, and host of multiple heralded underground comedy shows that tour across the United States and abroad, Kyle Ayers is making his first trip to Europe. A style that earned him the praise of publications in New York, saying “Rural Missouri may have imbued the First Comes Love creator with an aw-shucks demeanor, but he has a progressive conviction praised by the likes of Brian Posehn and Sirius XM,” as well as Janeane Garofalo, Eugene Mirman, Joe DeRosa, and more Kyle has opened and performed with. His writing has been featured on Comedy Central, TBS, CBS, BBC, the New York Times, and more, and his performing on FUSE, JFL TV, and more.
Kyle has headlined the New York Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, Bird City Comedy Festival, JFL Montreal, Come and Take it Festival, RIOT LA, clubs across the United States, and more.
“I’m putting money on Kyle Ayers to be the next big thing. He’s really funny, but also just incredibly creative.” - Samantha Ruddy in Brooklyn Magazine
“We’re honestly not sure why comedian Kyle Ayers took off his clothes doing a photo shoot” - Brooklyn Daily
“Kyle Ayers is too comfortable being a white guy” - the Comic’s Comic (the rest of the review was quite nice!)
“Kyle is a master of the spoken word to the masses.”
“I haven’t listened yet, but I’m sure it’s great” - a one star review of Kyle online
“Didn't even get to see the show, the show was scheduled to start at 7 PM, and your website (Goldstar) and all tickets and reminder alerts all said 8 PM. So we eneded up getting there 20 mins before the show ended” - a one star review of a show Kyle did in San Diego, California
Olof Olsson
Olof Olsson is a product of the emerging charter tourism industry of the 1960s – his Dutch mother and Swedish father met in Mallorca. In his youth Olof ventured into journalism, documentary photography, chemical engineering – and as a radio disc jockey. After having studied languages, philosophy and translation theory, Olof started to make exhibitions in the 1992 – often in the form of office environments where Olof would offer semi-fictitious services. In 2002 Olof graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Since 2007 Olof has been working mainly with spoken performances, like lectures, speeches, comedy, talkshows, and question-and-answer sessions – or something in-between, or not quite..
Marianna Keisalo
Marianna Keisalo started doing stand up for science, as part of her anthropological research to find out what makes comedians tick. When she found out that performers get free beer, she kept it up. Her continued struggles with splitting her identity between research and comedy are kept in check with intellectual jokes about Tinder.
