Efter en lang vinterdvale er Copenhagen Blues band vågnet op med forårsfornemmelser, og det vil vi rigtig gerne fejre med jer - vores trofaste fans!
I Copenhagen Blues Band sætter vi en ære i at levere vores helt eget energifyldte take på bluesgenren, hvor vi frit blander den klassiske blues rock med noget af det bedste fra en stribe andre beslægtede genrer som soul, country, jazz, reggae m.m - altsammen leveret fra hjertet og med præcis den energi og kærlighed, som har formet vores livsrejse med musikken.
Først Rytmegruppen:
Frede på trommer, sangskriver og vokal
Nils på bas, sangskriver
Søren på congas og percussion.
De tre er ankeret i bandet og “timekeepers” .... de gør ikke stads ud af sig selv, men sætter en “dyd” i deres grooves og swinger fantastisk!
Felix, guitarist/solist & sangskriver/vokal, leverer den fede rytmespade. Felix er tro mod sine blueslegender, og på sin helt egen måde leverer han i bedste Robert Cray, Albert Collins, Dickey Betts, Santana stil sine fede soloer ..... og hans gear lyder bare fedt!
Men Copenhagen Blues Bands sound er i særdeleshed osse orgelets brusende og fyldige gulvtæppe udtrykt med Peters suveræne gehør. Og hans finurlige genialitet overrasker alle i soloer, når han folder sig ud - man kan ikke undgå at blive revet med!
På Bartof har vi Bjarne Madsen med - en ydmyg herre og en rigtig holdspiller, der med sin dobro og fede blues slide guitar komplementerer Felix i et fedt samarbejde. Bjarne har også sine rødder i blues/country, Allman Brothers, Keb’Moe, Ry Cooder.
Og sidst men ikke mindst har vi Charlotte Ottenheim i front med hendes unikke vokal, som sender tanker i retning af Hanne Boel og Annisette. Charlotte synger fra hjertet og får det hele til at gå op i en højere enhed.

Køkkenet åbner 18.00 og lukker 19.00. Kommer I senere, kan vi desværre ikke nå at afvikle maden inden koncerten, og I vil ikke kunne få refunderet penge.
