LARS JANSSON TRIO
Efter mere end tredive år med en solid trio har Lars Jansson valgt at spille med to yngre. musikere; den danske bassist Thomas Fonnesbæk og Lars' søn Paul Svanberg trommer. Det meste af musikken er oprindeligt komponeret af Jansson plus musik fra "The American songbook”. Trioen har indspillet 5 cd'er; What's New, Koan, Sound of my Colors og Everything I Loved Ove Ingemarsson og Facing the Wall. I efteråret 2016 udkom et nyt balladealbum; "More Human", en samling af Janssons mest berømte kompositioner. Alt sammen udgivet af det japanske firma Spice of Life. Derudover har Trioen lavet to plader i Thomas Fonnesbæks navn på Naxos. Musikken er baseret på melodisk improvisation og et stærkt rytmisk fundament.
