Cousin er en 4-mands popgruppe. Et projekt, der forsøger at gøre boksen, man kalder popmusik, en lille smule større. Den melodiske kerne er pop, men den musikalske indpakning søger at udfordre mainstream pop-lyden. Bandets fire medlemmer danner ramme om en lyd, der søger opad og udad; der både tør det storslåede, det energiske og det hviskende. Cousins første singler ‘These Walls’ og ‘Me & Sane’ udkom i 2017, hvor sidstnævnte endte som nummer to på P3s Barometerlisten efter fem uger. Seneste singleudkast fra aarhusianske Cousin, er singlen, ‘Opportunity’, som har fået rosende ord med på vejen af både Bands Of Tomorrow og Musikblogger.dk.
