Et af Cubas største talenter, Eliel Lazo har slået sig ned i Danmark.
Han har udgivet fire Albums, modtaget tre DMA Awards og to Cubanske Grammy Nomineringer.
Hans album "Eliel Lazo el Conguero" blev ved Danish Music Awards kåret til årets bedste World CD i 2011. Eliel kom til Danmark for 12 år siden for at spille med DR Big Band og har været her lige siden.
Det er ikke tilfældigt at han på Cuba fik prædikatet “God’s Hands”.
På den danske scene har han spillet koncerter med bl.a. DR Big Band, Savage Rose, Mikkel Nordsø Band, Hanne Boel, Sp Just og Frost, The Antonelli Orchestra og på den udenlandske scene, Michel Camilo, Baaba Maal, Oscar Valdes, Chucho Valdes, BBC Bigband, WDR Big band og ikke mindst Herbie Hancock, Dianne Reeves og Wayne Shorter – de tre sidste på én gang.
Eliel Lazos Musik har spændende krinkelkroge, de kalder på både fordybelse og hoftevred!
