Hip-hop trioen CunninLynguists indtager den 31. marts Rust til et show hvor genre og forventinger ikke gør sig gældende - det bliver et show hvor det uventet træder ind og det eneste man kan vide sig sikker på, er at energien er i top!
En præstesøn, en europæisk fyr fra slummen i Georgia og en dømt kriminel udgør den umage trio, som kalder sig CunninLynguists. XXL Magazine kaldte dem det mest hadede navn i rap-genren og Spin Magazine kaldte dem “Outkasts tragikkomiske og samtidig fødselsladet efterfølgere”. Faktum er at de tre fyrer har skabt en af de mest farverige fanbaser i den amerikanske hip-hop miljøet. Igennem 16 år har Cunninlynguists nægtet at sætte sig i en boks og udforsket krydret deres lyriske univers med input fra forskellige genre. Det har resulteret samples fra psych-rock til polka og sceneoptrædninger med Kanye West og Aesop Rock.
CunningLynguists udgav den 6. oktober 2017 deres nyeste EP: "Rose Azura Njano", som udforsker den amerikanske afro-amerikanske musikhistorie og den social-politiske bevægelse.
