Danish Electro er en ny serie af opsamlingsudgivelser, som præsenterer den enorme aktivitet og kreativitet, der folder sig ud i den kontemporære danske elektroniske musikundergrund. Med to årlige udgivelser vil serien i de kommende år præsentere et bredt spektrum af genrer fordelt over en lang række udgivelser. D. 1. februar blev den første udgivelse sendt på gaden, som præsenterede 16 danske kunstnere inden for synth pop og wave. D. 1. september kommer næste kapitel, og denne gang stilles der skarpt på den mere klub-orienterede Electronic Body Music (EBM) og Industrial.
Udgivelsen bliver fejret med to releasefester; d. 14/9 i Odense og d. 15/9 i København.
Lørdag d. 15 september finder festen sted på Lygten Station i Kbh., hvor vi præsenterer fire kunstnere/bands som deltager på compilationen, nemlig Alterian Project, Bionic Bitch, ManMindMachine og Monospore.
Altarian Project er en københavnsk duo, som har knap 10 år på bagen, men har været ret stille de seneste år, og vi er rigtig glade for at kunne byde dem velkommen tilbage på scenen. Altarian Projekt spiller hårdslående electro med metal-elementer.
Bionic Bitch spiller old school EBM, som det stor set er umuligt at stå stille til, og har gennem bandets knap 10 års levetid leveret mange gode koncerter, med fuld knald på. D. 15. bliver ingen undtagelse!
ManMindMachine udsendte deres debut-ep Point of Departure sidste år, som kort tid efter blev fulgt op af en remixudgave. Bandet er inspireret af retroteknologi og -futurisme og spiller en blanding af EBM, synth og electro. ManMindMachine er på trapperne med en ny ep kaldet “Automaton City”.
Efter et par stille år er Monospore nu tilbage og vi ser frem til at kunne præsenterere dem på scenen igen. Monospore leverer hårdtslående EBM, der nok skal få sat god gang i festen.
Der er kort sagt lagt i ovnen til en fest med fuld knald på!
Arrangementerne er kommet i stand i samarbejde med Odense Musikbibliotek og Lygten Station.

DANISH ELECTRO VOL.02 Release parties
Danish Electro is a new series of compilations that present the enormous activity and creativity on the contemporary Danish electronic music underground scene. With two yearly releases the series will be presenting a wide spectrum of genres spread over a long row of releases in the coming years. On 1st of February the first compilation was released presenting 16 Danish synth pop and wave artists. On 1st of September the next chapter in the series is released, this time with focus on the more club oriented Electronic Body Music (EBM) and Industrial.
The release is celebrated with two releaseparties, in Odense on the 14th of September and in Copenhagen on the 15th of September.
Saturday the 15th of September the party takes place in Lygten Station, where we present four of the participating bands from the compilation, namely Altarian Project, Bionic Bitch, ManMindMachine and Monospore.
Altarian Project is a Copenhagen based duo founded approximately 10 years ago but who has been rather quiet in the later years why we are really glad to be able to welcome them back on the stage. Altarian Project plays hard electro with elements of metal.
Bionic Bitch plays old school EBM making it impossible to stand still and the band has played a lot of great, energetic concerts during the 10 years the band has existed. The 15th of September will be no exception.
ManMindMachine released their debut ep ‘Point of Departure’ last year followed shortly after by a remix version. The band is inspired by retrotechnology and -futurism and plays a mix of EBM, synth and electro. ManMindMachine is soon to release their next ep ‘Automaton City’.
After a couple of years in hiatus Monospore is back and we are really looking forward to see them on the stage again. Monospore plays hard hitting EBM that really keeps the party going.
This is going to be a blast of a release party!
The event is made in collaboration with Odense Musikbibliotek and Lygten Station.
