Coronapandemien har for alvor understreget den centrale rolle digitale teknologier spiller i vores liv. Under nedlukningsperioderne har de hjulpet os til at opretholde arbejdsfunktioner hjemmefra og gjort det muligt for erhvervsdrivende at modtage hjælpepakker fra staten, ligesom digitale teknologier også har været nøglen til at bevare kontakten med venner og familie på trods af forsamlingsforbud.
Men den omfattende digitalisering af vores samfund rummer også en række miljømæssige, geostrategiske og økonomiske udfordringer.
Disse er omdrejningspunktet for denne debat, hvor vi skal diskutere, hvordan vi kan skabe en modstandsdygtig digital model i Europa, der kan modstå nuværende og fremtidige udfordringer, som sikrer europæisk suverænitet og samtidig er forenelig med bekæmpelsen af global opvarmning.
Arrangementet vil samle en række eksperter (etiske hackers, iværsættere og forskere) fra Frankrig, Danmark og resten af Europa, og er en del af Idéernes Nat 2022, en eftermiddag og aften med debat, kultur og fælles refleksion over aktuelle og fremtidige udfordringer på det digitale område i Europa.
