Herlige-Herlev.dk er stolte af at kunne præsentere en koncert med Ebb & Flow - en soulfuld oplevelse. Bandet blander finurlige, personlige anekdoter med originale, melodiøse sange indenfor retro-pop- og electro-soul genrerne. Stærke vokaler og tæt kontakt med publikum er meget vigtige komponenter I en koncert med Ebb & Flow. Sangstemmerne underlægges keyboards, synthesizers, cajon eller trommer og forskellig elektronik..
EBB & FLOW er et samarbejde mellem dansk-amerikanske Gabby Gordon, danske Kier og israelske Ronen Gordon. De tre musikere har alle basei Hollywood, Californien. Både Gabby og Kier er rutinerede sangere, sangskrivere og pianister med en række soloudgivelser på bagen. I denne triokonstellation backes de op af den groovy Ronen på trommer, percussion og diverse elektronik.
Gabby Gordon er vokset op i Danmark, Schweiz, Tjekkiet, England, Tyskland og USA. De mange oplevelser herfra afspejles i hendes soulede sange. På sit seneste album har hun bl.a. samarbejdet med den kendte Nashville-producer Marshall Altman.
Kier er tidligere medlem af vokalgruppen Basix, som blev nummer 2 ved Dansk Melodi Grand Prix i 2001 med sangen “I Australien”. Nu om dage turnerer han som solist og er bl.a. aktuel med electro-soul-albummet “Pendulum”.
Ronen Gordon er aktiv på den amerikanske prog-rock-scene og er bl.a. kendt fra bandsene LoFi Resistance og Sound of Contact.
Du kan opleve EBB & FLOW i Herlev Medborgerhus fredag den 19. august 2016 kl. 19.30 ved en intim cafe-koncert.
