Kom til en aften med den store islandske forfatter, som er aktuel med romanen Pasfotos.
Einar Már Guðmundsson er en af Islands største forfattere og oversat til mange sprog. Som romanforfatter, novelleforfatter og digter er han uovertruffen, og dertil en særdeles fængende fortæller. Han har en aktiv social holdning, hvilket sidst kom stormende frem under Islands finanskrise med Hvidbogen om Islands økonomiske fald.
Einar Már er en kendt og meget værdsat gæst på Møn. Han var årets forfatter ved Verdenslitteratur på Møn i 2002.
Pasfotos, som udkommer den 6. april på forlaget Lindhardt & Ringhof, er en rejseroman, en kærlighedsroman og en udviklingsroman. Her er boblende menneskeliv og glødende ungdom, markante personer, sjove historier og grumme skæbner - det hele vævet sammen med velkendt snilde af Einar Már Guðmundsson.

Einar Már har modtaget en lang række priser og æresbevisninger for sine bøger. I 2015 fik han Den Islandske Litteraturpris for romanen Hundedage, som også blev valgt som bedste oversatte roman i Kina i 2016.

Verdenslitteratur på Møn har siden 2000 arrangeret litteraturbegivenheder på Møn med internationalt kendte forfattere. Ved Verdenslitteratur på Møn er tiden og fordybelsen i samtalen helt central. Forfatteren har tre timer til rådighed sammen med en interviewer og publikum. Det betyder, at samtalerne kommer i dybden – og der er god tid til oplæsning, spørgsmål og debat.
