Danish Music Award vinderen Emil Hess har samlet en dansk- finsk- amerikansk Quartet.
Alle musikere, har mange jazz meriter på CVét: turneer over det meste af verden, mange Cd-udgivelser og spændende projekter. Musikere som nyder at spille sammen og har en speciel indbyrdes forståelse bygget op gennem mange år.
Emil Hess og Niklas Winter har spillet sammen siden 1992 , hvor Winter og Hess begge studerede ved Berklee College of Music. Senest har Hess, Huntley & Winter spillet 12 koncerter på en vellykket Japan Tour.
Hess & Winter har sammen udgivet tre CDer med Scandinavian Jazz Quartet og spillet mange koncerter i ind og udland.
Emil Hess og Richard Huntley har spillet sammen siden 1996, hvor Emil Hess boede i New York. Siden da har Emil Hess været i NYC mange gange for både at give koncerter og indspillet flere cdér.The Great Bridge, Skoven Nat og New York/Copenhagen. De har turneret i Danmark, Ungarn og USA, hvor de bl.a. har spillet flere gange på det berømte spillested Knitting Factory i New York.
Musikken kan beskrives som nutidig nordisk jazz med et ”touch” af New York. Smukke melodier og fede grooves.
